In a world overwhelmed by imagery and content, it can be difficult to overcome urges to satisfy a consumerist trend and recreate pieces made by independent artists or design power houses at the lowest cost. This collection is a comment about such practices in the jewellery industry and holds true to the original intent of recreating a specific piece of jewellery, with a tongue in cheek reconstruction of the medium for these replicas.
Each earring is made of paper, gold leaf or silver leaf layered in resin. Jump rings and earring posts are made of silver and some are plated in 18k yellow gold. Inquire for availability or complete custom requests.
